Interview with Ella

This week, Kakapo has been working on making movies and presentations about a book called "The almost save". We had to do an interview. Luisa and I had to make a script about what we were going to say on the movie. After we had finished doing the script, we had to record it using iMovie. When we finished recording we put it on the green-screen app then added a cool background that will make it look realistic. I was in an office while she was at the Beach where the sea lion was saved. 

Exploring Blogs

Today, I had to create a poster about what I have seen on others blogs using google drawing. I got told to look at a few blogs then make a poster about what I saw on the blogs. I added some images to make it look creative.

3D shapes

Today, Mrs Raj taught us how to measure and make a net to create a 3 Dimensional  shape.
I made a Hexagonal Prism.

My Hexagonal Prism has 8 faces, 18 edges and 12 vertices.
Boxes are made to hold or store things. Boxes are used for packaging.

I have been learning about 3D shapes and creating one.

The steps were:
1. Creating a net
2. Cutting out
3. Folding sharply
4. Glueing
5. Putting the shape into place
6. Labelling
7. Taking a picture using my netbook camera
8. Blog about my learning and creating activity.

It wasn’t that expecting, there was meant to be four passengers on the plane, but the other three were too late and Nigel Short was the only one on board the plane. They were very shocked.

Autumn

Today, Room 7 we had to describe a main character from a narrative that we have written. My characters  name is Autumn. We also had to describe all of he features, things she loves to do and her hobbies.

Autumn is a very passionate girl and always takes risks, she also loves athletics.  She has black straight hair with dip-dyed blonde. She has a beautiful smile that she never stops using. She has light tan skin with a slim body. Autumn is british, swiss, american and dutch. She has beautiful light, soft, grey eyes that are one of a kind in her family. She always loves different people, she loves people for who they are and she hates it when people get judged for not being perfect. She loves reading books because she says that it frees her imagination. She is a tomboy and hates make up, she says that she loves being herself, not wearing something that changes the way she looks.

But there is one this in particular that she loves to do research about ghosts. She likes to do research when she has free time because she is in college and has to learn a lot. She is 17 years old and is very excited to graduate in a year. When she graduates she thinks about becoming a professional ghost hunter. Autumn loves learning about different kinds of cultures. She loves to help the homeless and the poor because she knows that one day someone will do the same for her.

Friendship Poems

Today in Room 7, we have been writing a few poems. In this poem I had to write a poem describing me and another one describing one of my friends. I added a few photos to make it a bit better too. (Click the photo to enlarge)

Clair, the actor

In Room 7 we had read a story in our reading groups, Luisa and I worked on this together. The story was about A girl named Clair, her dream was to work in a vet and take care of animals, but her mother really wanted her to have an acting career. So what we had to do was change the ending if the original story.

Blue Lobster caught!
